About the Opportunity Join a high-performance, recently launched hedge fund managing several billion dollars in assets. We are a specialized, distributed team of seven professionals looking to add a key Python Developer to our core engineering group. This is a rare opportunity to enter a well-capitalized firm at an early stage, working directly with our head developer to build and scale critical trading infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems primarily using Python.

• Collaborate with a small, elite team of developers and researchers across the US and UK to optimize trading performance.

• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from initial architectural design to deployment and monitoring.

• Implement high-efficiency data processing tools and integrate them with core financial systems.

• Participate in a rigorous technical environment where code quality and system reliability are paramount.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Python development within a professional or production environment.

• Proven experience building complex, high-availability software systems.

• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed team structure.

• Strong analytical mindset and the ability to solve intricate technical challenges with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive evaluation process, including a one-week paid work trial.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in financial services, specifically within hedge funds, proprietary trading, or quantitative finance.

• Experience with low-latency data processing or large-scale financial datasets.

• Academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Compensation & Benefits

• Total Compensation:$250,000 – $350,000 (Base + Performance Bonus).
