On Thursday, October 17th, 2019 we celebrated our 20th Anniversary!

Objective Paradigm (OP) launched in 1999 and has grown immensely ever since. We’re home to over 50 passionate recruiters, sourcers and hiring experts, and have been widely successful across the tech industry in the Chicagoland area, as well as New York, Florida, Texas and other areas of the U.S. 

From being nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneurs of the Year in 2006 to the inception of T4 Youth in 2014, the countless changes we have seen are an outcome of our commitment to constant innovation. 

Like our founders, Ryan Pollock and Kevin Krumm said, “Our mission is the same today as it’s been since we opened our doors — to be the most respected and effective recruiting firm for every client and candidate we work with.” 

So how did we celebrate this monumental event?

We hosted a party in our brand new office space! Located in the Nielsen building on West Jackson Boulevard – we welcomed our amazing clients, candidates and of course, our own employees to join in on the fun. 

Objective Paradigm relocated offices in the Spring of 2019. Still central to Chicago’s Financial District in the newly redesigned, Nielsen Building.

The festivities began in the afternoon and took us through the night. 

We had a trivia game going in the main room thanks to BrainSportz Trivia, challenge a spin pro from SPiN Chicago in our break area, and chair massages in the library from LoDo Chair Massage. Additionally, we offered headshots from Purple Photo Group for all who attended.

Of course, plenty of food and drinks were served as well! Our guests were able to tour the office and see the inspiring and hip office design and decor recently installed – everyone loved it! For more shots of our sweet, new office, check out @op_recruiting on Instagram. 

The event continued upstairs on the 28th floor in “The Notch.” Here clients and candidates were able to interact with a fabulous magician from Magic Penthouse, Mike Jansen, a spectacular live guitarist, and a CasaMigos Tequila tasting to top it all off!

It was a wonderful evening commemorating our accomplishments and thanking those who have contributed to our success. We couldn’t have done it without our extensive network of awesome and supportive connections – thank you to all who attended! 

After the party, OP President and Co-Founder, Ryan Pollock left the team with some positive remarks: “it inspires me to continue to try and make OP a place that carries the excitement that innovation, growth, and winning have brought us over the past 20 years.” 

We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Objective Paradigm! Cheers to the next 20!

Ellie Gershenson, Human Resources & Marketing Intern, is a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and has been an intern at Objective Paradigm since June 2019. Her main responsibilities lie within Human Resources, where she works closely to support Dayna Stoller, Chief of Staff.
