Thank You, Dreamforce 2016

How lucky are we that the Salesforce community offers year-round opportunities to grow, connect, and share experiences? Earlier this month I had the pleasure of attending Dreamforce, the annual Salesforce customer conference in San Francisco, CA, for the first time! If you couldn’t make it, there are some fantastic highlights out there.

I thought I’d join the fun and post my Top 5 Dreamforce Moments.

1. Tony Robbins bringing the firepower to Dreamforce.

It was my first time attending a Tony Robbins seminar, and he certainly brought some spark by getting the crowd on its’ feet. In addition to his tips for achieving your personal edge, Mr. Robbins took some time to discuss eliminating hunger – an inspiring speaker to say the least!

2. Einstein is introduced.

Einstein is a new and incredible tool on the Salesforce platform that makes artificial intelligence accessible to everyone – no data scientist needed. It’s fairly new, but it has some awesome predictive analytics that can be customized for every single customer. The best part..it gets smarter with every interaction and piece of data added.

3. CEO Marc Benioff’s opening Keynote.

One of the most anticipated events for me was getting to see the CEO of Salesforce speak. Benioff welcomed everyone back to what he called the annual ‘family reunion.’ People flooded through the Moscone Center in droves to see him talk about the company’s core values and about the future of the CRM.

4. Dreamfest.

One of the biggest bands on the planet, U2, headlined Cow Palace playing a variety of their greatest hits while raising awareness about (RED)’s mission to eliminate new cases of HIV by 2020. This concert was complementary to anyone attending Dreamforce and was, I’m sure, a top 5 for many!

5. DF16 Newbie Breakfast.

Dreamforce first-timers and sponsors* gathered to meet, greet, and eat – BACON.

The event kicked off at 6:30 am on Wednesday and raised funds to support Project Night Night. I had the pleasure of sharing a hearty breakfast with user-group leaders from Switzerland, Boston, Indianapolis, and Paris! It was great seeing people from around the world being brought together by Salesforce, a great cause, and of course bacon and eggs.
